Black Excellence were commissioned as part of a competitive tender process by Islington Council to deliver a series of markets aimed at supporting black entrepreneurs - funded under the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The Black Excellence project team are a powerhouse, with each member complementing each other through their varied skillsets and demonstrable experience in event production, promotion and operational management. They successfully delivered the project exactly as briefed, creating a significant enough impact to spark interest in a legacy project to continue the market indefinitely. The Black Excellence Team showed remarkable tenacity and ingenuity in their delivery of this challenging project, approaching any obstacle in their way with an upbeat attitude. They delivered an exceptional promotional campaign, organised the market perfectly and excelled in their recruitment of new traders. It was a pleasure to work with such a dynamic and capable group, who care deeply about the communities they are supporting. Their passion shines through in their work!

It’s always a real pleasure trading with Black Excellence CIC. Every time I book to trade and sell my JB Natural and Organic range, it’s a vibrant and uplifting experience, interacting with the other Traders//Vendors too. The atmosphere you all create (sometimes with The Rhythm Masters Dancers,) great music, by Gary spinning a solid selection of vibes is second to none. For any vendors who haven’t yet had the opportunity to trade with Black Excellence CIC, I highly recommend they get involved, Network and be part of this fantastic experience.
